If you’ve already uploaded a payment file and created a payment batch, the next step—if you have approval policies in place—is routing the payments through your predefined approval workflows.

👉 Need help setting up approval policies? Learn how to do it step by step here.

Routing a payment batch for approvals

Once you’ve created a batch from your uploaded payment file, Finofo will automatically check if any of the payments fall under your approval policies.

  • The creator of the batch will see all the payment details and be able to route the batch for approval.

  • Payments within the policy limits will be sent to the relevant approvers defined by your rules.

What approvers will see

Approvers will get full context before approving:

  • A detailed breakdown of each payment in the batch

  • The source accounts funding each transaction

  • Currency conversions and rates involved

  • The payment reason for each line item

  • Approval chain so far

Once approved, the batch moves to the next stage for processing.

Final execution

Anyone with Executor permissions can now process the approved batch and complete the payments.
