What are policy ranges in an approval policy?

Define approval policies using amount-based ranges. Set thresholds, assign approver groups, and trigger workflows automatically.

Policy ranges define the conditions under which an approval policy is triggered. You can set three different parameters for a policy range:

  1. Amount greater than or equal to – Approvals are required for transactions above or equal to a specified amount.

  2. Amount lower than – Approvals are required for transactions below a certain amount.

  3. Amount within a specific range – Approvals are required for transactions within a defined range.

You can assign different approver groups to each policy. When a transaction falls within a specified range, the corresponding approval policy is automatically activated, triggering the approval workflow.
